Accessible art, new edition

Accessible art, new edition

Launch of edition of 50, 30x40cm

Release of a new accessible edition

When I first started my journey as an artist, I released four editions of each artwork: 3, 6, 9 and 50, at different price levels. My goal was to make my work accessible to a wide audience. Over time, I decided to remove the edition of 50, because I wanted to focus on creating something more exclusive, keeping only the editions of 3, 6 and 9.

Huge interest in accessible art

Throughout my career, I have noticed a huge interest in more accessible artworks, as well as smaller print sizes. Not everyone has the wall space or the budget for one of my larger editions. For a long time, I resisted bringing back the edition of 50 because I wanted to protect the integrity of the collectors who invested in my more exclusive editions.

Most of my prints are now available in an accessible 30x40cm size, with each piece signed and numbered beneath the image.

With time, however, I have come to see that the wider my art spreads, the more people who own it, the stronger its value becomes for every collector. The visibility and recognition of my work benefit everyone who owns a piece. That said, I remain committed to maintaining the integrity of my limited editions. Every artwork I sell is created with the same high standards and materials.

Still museum-grade quality

The artworks are crafted using museum-grade archival paper, specifically Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315 GSM, ensuring longevity and exceptional quality.

Each fine-art print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its provenance and value.

"How does this affect the value the larger prints?"

I want to reassure you that the new edition I’ve released will not affect the value or exclusivity of your artwork. Each edition remains fixed and unique, your piece is part of a strictly limited series that will never be expanded. The new edition differs in size and format, and is clearly documented as a separate series.

In the art world there are what many call the silent rules of editions: once a number is set, it can never be altered, and any future edition must be distinct and transparent. I follow these rules closely and I will not release any new print numbers in an existing edition. While other products or interpretations may appear in the future, no new fine art print editions will ever be produced.

Worth noting is that future artwork might have other editions, but current artworks will have no more editions created.

To clearly distinguish the edition of 50 from my more exclusive editions, it comes with deliberate differences: the print is delivered with a white border, signed and numbered on the front (rather than verso-signed on the back), and the certificate does not have a hologram. This ensures that the prestige and exclusivity of the smaller editions remain intact, while still allowing more people to connect with my art.
